Absolutely our favourite Indian (Bangladeshi) restaurant in Hornsea. Never had a meal that wasn't fresh & tasty. Restaurant is spotless, servers & welcome warm & genuine. Particularly like the way they offer different chefs specials. My favourite is the sweet, sour & hot curry (Thai/ Indian fusion).. Hairari. Coconut rice lovely, naans fluffy. Rogan Josh excellent. Went for Mother's day. Also you can take your own drinks which saves money.
Had a lovely curry in here tonight. The staff were working under pressure to keep up the pace in the face of some real tools on the customer front. Incredible amount of patience on their part when faced with dull questions like, "How big are the king prawns?" "What vegetables are with the king prawns?" "Can I get chicken fried rice?" "You're very busy... Can you serve us quickly?" Despite all of this they served us efficiently and the food was really very good and reasonably priced too. Thank you Maa team. The 3 stars on atmos isn't down to you, it's down to the droning gobshites that seem to think that asking you stupid questions really loudly makes them discerning and important, when all it really does is mark them out as raging buttplugs and dampen the mood for the nice people. Like me. And some of the others, probably.
Fantastic food we had a starter man's special combo 2 also to mains plus pilau rice tikka keema naan and it did not disappoint. Considering we live in Bradford the home of indian food this place knocked the socks of it the staff are really friendly and bend over backwards to keep you happy 10/10
Ordered a takeaway from MAA tonight after dining in at the restaurant a few times. The takeaway was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the chicken popwala and was blown away by the lovely flavours in the dish, and it had a mild taste which helped me to savour it. The Lemon rice was amazing and the peshwari naan was the perfect sweetness to counteract the other flavours. Would thoroughly recommend MAA, such lovely friendly staff and 100% excellent value for money.
A very beautiful and tastefully decorated restaurant which is impeccably clean inside. Service is extremely friendly and very prompt. The food is always flavoursome and delicious served hot and tasty. All in all a five ***** experience. Would highly recommend.
I came on April 20th with my wife and my freind and baby to enjoy some indian food. The food was amazing and came quick even though it was really busy. The staff was wonderfull, making us feel welcomed.
Had takeaway from here last night . Food was ready on time . Decent tasting food and portion size was good . Good price for the meals . Very friendly staff . Will be back again
